3.3 Megapixels, 2048 X 1536 Pixels in TIFF mode, 9.3MB per image. 1" X 1.8" CCD.
SmartMedia memory in 8, 16, & 64MB card sizes. Aperture F2.8 - F11.0, 3X Optical Zoom, 10X Digital. Minimum Focus 8". Auto/Manual Focus.
Auto/Manual Exposure, Flash. Computer connection via USB 1. I've added optional wide angle lens and
external flash with a pistol grip mount. The camera is small and lightweight. It has so many bells and whistles, that I often find it daunting to use. I miss the through the lens view and focusing of my old SLR, with the light meter within that view. The LCD view screen is not adequate for manual focusing and often unviewable in bright light. I have learned to use the built-in Auto-Focus. It's good and reliable, but you must remember to switch modes for close-up photography. My single bitch about this camera was that purchasing the wide angle lens required also purchasing the external flash, as the wide angle lens blocks about 25% of the built-in flash. So a $150 option required $400 in expenses. |
